Communication Issues is a series of programs broadcast by CPAC in 2022, organized by the Department of Communication of the Université de Montréal and with the support of the Graham Spry Fund.
Communication is the art of making connections and building bridges. Whether it’s to reach audiences, convince them, mobilize them, or get them to take action, we must be able to dialogue, debate and inform. The program Questions de communication, hosted by Amandine Hamon (doctoral student in communication, Université de Montréal), discusses these topics in depth with several experts:
Media as instruments of revolt: with Marie-Ève Carignan (Professor, Department of Communication, University of Sherbrooke and co-holder of the UNESCO Chair in the prevention of violent radicalization and extremism)
Communicating across borders: with Claudine Blais (Visiting Professor of Journalism, Université de Montréal) and Raoul Delcorde (Honorary Ambassador of Belgium and Visiting Professor, Department of Political Science, Université de Montréal)
Communication Governance: with Pierre Trudel (Professor at the Centre de recherche en droit public, Université de Montréal) and Alain Saulnier (Researcher and lecturer, and author of the book Les Barbares numériques).
Risks and well-being in the digital universe: with Benoît Dupont (Professor of Criminology, Université de Montréal) and Emmanuelle Parent (Doctoral student in communications at Université de Montréal and co-founder of CIEL).
